Had lunch with TL and F. Was touched that they came down specially to have lunch. Just seeing them and I am all relaxed and at home. Was quite overwhelmed with a sense of “homesickness” for ex-colleagues when I said bye to them.

in the previous employment, i felt i was really learning something and tried to rationalise away the doubts that were seeded anew everyday by who i worked with and some stuff i had to invest time in. it took one major incident to convince me to cut my losses and myself some much deserved slack, so i left.
only you know best whether what you are experiencing is a passing phase or a permanent stage. my story is just to say that there really can be greener pastures with nicer ppl and neighbours around. i love my current job! And i wouldn’t be here if i had not the courage or dignity to ay goodbye. i shudder at the potential loss…
