I adored reading by the little balcony with the rustle of the streets floating up, the rays of light shining in. Every morning, I was torn between loitering another hour in the room reading cos it was so pleasant or rushing out to enjoy the day outside cos there was so much to see. I just had to try for a self portrait so that I could remember the loveliness of reading by the little balcony.

I could see the buzzling flow of traffic below. I could see ladies enjoying their coffee at the cafe opposite. I could people-watch unobserved from the comfort of my room.

Excellent timepieces. This one is found in Bern’s town square. Zytglogge was built at the turn of 13th century.

Yes, I was spying on them.
tsk..tsk….
My defense?
Well, they were such a lovely group to watch. They seem like a really fun and close knitted group. Very warm and loving. The bridge and groom looked really blissful among their family and friends. The day was lovely and fine with a light breeze.
