The power of facebook

is a little scary. Here’s why.

You are suddenly connected to a whole lot of people from your past that you have lost contact with. And these people, in turn, provide connection to more people that you have lost contact with. Er…not too sure if that is a good or bad thing. Cos there must be some reasons why you have not maintain contact with some of these people in the first place. Of course, there are some people I am happy to touch base with again. Well, there are always 2 sides to every coin.

You see pictures of yourself (unflattering ones, dammit!) in the profile of people you have not been in contact for 2 years. And you go like “Hallo? What is my picture doing on your facebook account???!!!” but you can’t delete them. Dammit x 2!

Friend A who is interested in Friend B and has been dropping hints from the subtle to the blatant (all of which you have been ignoring cos of Friend B’s disinterest), now have direct access to Friend B. On second thoughts, that is the good part. So now, they can just handle it themselves. Who knows? Something good may come out of it.

Oh yes, there is also the amount of time waste loitering in Facebook. *guilty look*
